My Purpose in life is to share the message of God’s amazing grace, in a way that is engaging and inspiring in an intersectional, contemporary way

And to lift up the liberating, life-saving and history-making story of Metropolitan Community Churches and our movement for spiritual and social change.

Positions with the Universal Fellowship of the Metropolitan Community Church

  • 2005 to 2016: Moderator (global leader), Metropolitan Community Churches. Senior leader and chief spokesperson, including speaking and preaching at conferences and churches, universities and organizations all over the globe on many different subjects.
  • 1972 to 2005: 44 years of pastoral, local church ministry while simultaneously serving the global church in various positions, including as senior pastor of MCC’s founding church in Los Angeles from 1986 to 2001
  • Elected Co-Senior Pastor of SunCoast Cathedral MCC in Venice, Florida, March 19th, 2017
